Karanga Camp 13,100 feet
Woke up to a cold morning 🥶 but opening up the tent and look at the view of Kilimanjaro does not get old. After breakfast and vitals, we sang and danced to motivate us to get up the wall! That wall was no joke. Half way up the wall, I almost hit a breaking point. Me and Climbing rocks are not friends but I pushed through it. To get up that wall was very technical and our guides are so so helpful and educated on every step you take and every rock you grab. Watching the porters with 40lbs of luggage getting up the wall put us to shame but also don’t know how they don’t fear it either. After the wall, the views were so incredible. We were above the clouds and never seen anything like that before. We made it to our 2nd to last camp before summit night 😁 the Altitude is real. I don’t feel it until I go up hill and need to catch my breath. We’re only gonna get higher!!
