Got driven up to the Materuni Village. The roads here are insane. Our driver jokes, “ Roads here give you free back massage.” It was bumpy and steep. Once we got there, we hiked 5km to the falls and back, ate fresh avocados from the trees. On the way back we stopped and got a demonstration on how here in Tanzania they harvest coffee beans and how they produce them. It’s all done by hand it was incredible to see. Then of course we got to try the coffee afterwards 😋 freshest coffee I’ve ever had, literally!
