Well we made it to our final camp before summit night!! Barafu camp which means ice in Swahili is at 15,000 feet. We have been acclimating our way at each camp. Some how tomorrow we are going to climb 4,400 feet reaching the summit of Kilimanjaro. We trekked for 3.3 miles from Karanga camp. A short hike today. We were fed lunch and told we have 3 hours until dinner so try to sleep bc they will be waking us up at 10pm to start getting ready for the summit. I took an hour nap and then just rested until dinner. At dinner we were fed rice, beans, chicken and cucumber soup. Cucumber soup is a staple of Tanzania. It is actually really good. Despite all the food, with high altitude you lose your appetite and I forced myself to eat knowing it will only help me at summit night. After dinner we only had 2 hours to sleep until we were woken up again to start our trek to the summit
